Nottingham Trent University’s Enactus team wanted to create a virtual reality experience that tackles knife crime.
NTU came up with the idea of hiring Spinning Shapes to make this documentary, believing it would prove more powerful than a stereotypical PowerPoint presentation.
The purpose – to reach the next stage of an Enactus funding competition… and it worked!
The film only took two days to film, packing in lots of interviews all over Nottingham with the NTU Enactus team, local organisations and project partners:
– The Pythian Club (to reach out to young people)
– Stone Soup Academy (student affiliation and initial testing/release)
– The National Justice Museum (to advise and eventually host as a display)
– Post Grad Students & Lecturers (specialists in their field to help develop & advise)
