VESSEL x The Open

I’d never hit a golf ball in my life at this point, but when VESSEL invited me to film in St Andrews, Scotland – it was hard to not fall in love with the sport.

They needed some social media content to announce that they were partnering with The Open for an exciting drop.

VESSEL needed some videos that showcased both the products and the location – conveying the feeling of getting your clubs out at the home of golf.

After some research into St Andrews, I found myself heavily inspired by 90s-2000s TV coverage and wanted to transition between a high-res VHS style that throws you back to the glory days and a modern product showcase that feels like the future of golf – and that you can be a part of it.

I also had time to produce music for the project, creating an original song in time for the release.
